Join T-Mobile and Earn 10,000 Bonus Delta SkyMiles To Start 2024 Off Right

Does the new year have you searching for a new mobile provider? Are you interested in 10,000 Bonus Delta SkyMiles? If so, now may be a great time to look into T-Mobile to scratch that itch, particularly for Delta SkyMiles members and travel enthusiasts in general, as they are now offering now offering a stellar deal for SkyMiles members to switch their current phone carrier to T-Mobile. Now through January 25, 2024, a switch to T-Mobile (Go5G or Go5G Plus plan) will earn you 10,000 bonus SkyMiles with Delta.

What is Delta SkyMiles?

You should already be a member of Delta SkyMiles, and if you’re not – go sign up now for FREE (even if you do not travel with Delta, at the moment). For starters, this is NOT a credit card deal. We are only referring to the FREE-TO-JOIN frequent flyer program of Delta Air Lines, one of the major airlines in the United States. It is a loyalty program designed to reward customers for their loyalty and frequent travel with Delta and its partner airlines. Members of the Delta SkyMiles program earn miles for every eligible flight they take with Delta, as well as with its partner airlines, based on the distance traveled and fare class, and membership is essential for leveraging unique deals like this one, as well as booking heavily discounted partner award flights.

These accumulated SkyMiles can then be redeemed for a variety of benefits, including free flights, seat upgrades, access to airport lounges, and more. Delta SkyMiles members can also earn miles through credit card partnerships and other Delta-affiliated services, expanding their opportunities to accumulate rewards. Delta SkyMiles is a popular program among frequent travelers looking to maximize their travel benefits and loyalty rewards.

Why T-Mobile for Travelers?

I am not sure if I am biased because I am a T-Mobile customer, or if I am a T-Mobile customer because of my bias, but either way – I can confidentially say that T-Mobile is my favorite US carrier (and I have tried them all). The are one of the few holdouts for (relatively) affordable Unlimited Plans (which is necessary for my line of work), they boast one of the broadest 5G networks, providing faster and more reliable internet connectivity (I have yet to experience any dropped calls), and they are GENEROUS with their monthly benefits, including Netflix on Us and T-Mobile Tuesdays, with weekly $0.15/ Gallon discounts at Shell and other rotating weekly discounts and freebies.

T-Mobile is renowned for its commitment to customer satisfaction. Their inclusive international roaming ensures connectivity abroad without exorbitant charges, as well as their dedication to sustainability and community initiatives makes it an environmentally and socially responsible choice for conscientious consumers, and travel enthusiasts, alike (sound like anyone you know?).

T-Mobile also recently struck a deal to provide free Wi-Fi on flights, for its customers flying American Airlines, Alaska, United Airlines and Delta. This feature is available on nearly all domestic flights, and for T-Mobile members on eligible plans (including the aforementioned Go5G plans).

What is the Dollar Value of 10,000 Bonus Delta SkyMiles?

On average, Delta SkyMiles are often valued at around 1 to 2 cents per mile when used for flight redemptions, with some work potentially yielding a value of 4-5 cents per mile. This means that if you were to redeem 10,000 SkyMiles for a flight, it could be worth between $100 and $200 (and sometimes upwards of $400) in airfare, assuming you find a redemption that offers good value.

Earn 10,000 Bonus Delta SkyMiles by Switching to T-Mobile

To earn your bonus SkyMiles, you must meet some small criteria. For starters, you must be switching to T-Mobile from another major US-based carrier, and you must have been a customer of that carrier for at least 90 days. You must choose one of T-Mobile’s new Unlimited Plans (Go5G or Go5G Plus) and, of course, you must be a Delta SkyMiles member (that simply go to your Delta account and check the eligibility of your phone number. It can be the number associated with your SkyMiles account or a separate number. If you’re eligible, purchase the Go5G or Go5G Plus package with T-Mobile before January 25, 2024, and maintain the plan for 3 months to earn 10,000 bonus SkyMiles.

Steps to Apply

  1. You must be a Delta SkyMiles member and customer of a U.S. phone carrier (other than T-Mobile) for the past 90 days.
  2. If you are not already a Delta SkyMiles member, sign up (for free) HERE.
  3. Confirm the eligibility of your phone number HERE (note: this can be the same number associated with your SkyMiles account)
  4. If eligible, purchase a Go5G or Go5G Plus plan from T-Mobile (please use our referral link) before January 25, 2024.
  5. After 90 days – Earn and enjoy your 10,000 SkyMiles bonus!

Final Thoughts on Bonus Delta SkyMiles Promotion with T-Mobile

Again, I am a (so far) loyal customer of T-Mobile, and have no scruples acting as an advocate. I have loved their service, coverage and bonuses since day one. My only gripe with this new bonus, is that I am not eligible.

The Go5G plans start at $100 (with available discounts, I believe on auto-pay and paperless). The plan must be maintained for 2 years to avoid cancellation fees and, with a probable average of roughly 1.5¢ per Delta SkyMile, the promotion will likely net you somewhere around $150 in travel rewards.

If switching to a 2-year unlimited T-Mobile contract is a consideration of yours, this is a no-brainer, as it is free money. If you are still on the fence about the carrier plan, keep in mind the added benefits of T-Mobile, particularly for travelers (free on board wi-fi & International roaming, discounted gas and travel deals, etc). In my opinion, this is still a very solid deal.
