Hi all! Bali is a stunning island in Indonesia that is known for its beautiful beaches, vibrant culture, and friendly locals. I recently went on a trip to Bali and it was one of the most memorable experiences of my life. During my trip, I visited some amazing places that I would highly recommend to anyone planning a trip to Bali. Here , I will share my experience of visiting Nusa Penida and Ubud, which is the cultural heart of Bali.
Nusa Penida is a small island off the coast of Bali that is becoming increasingly popular with tourists. It is a paradise for nature lovers, with its stunning beaches, crystal-clear waters, and rugged landscapes. I took a day trip to Nusa Penida and it was an incredible experience. We started the day early and took a speedboat from Sanur Beach to the island. The boat ride was a bit bumpy, but the views of the ocean were breathtaking.
Once we arrived on the island, we rented a scooter and explored the island. Our first stop was Kelingking Beach, which is known for its stunning views and picturesque cliffside. The beach is located at the bottom of a steep cliff, so we had to hike down a challenging trail to reach it. However, the views from the top were worth the effort. We spent a few hours swimming and relaxing on the beach before heading to our next stop.
Our next stop was Angel's Billabong, which is a natural pool with crystal-clear water. The pool is surrounded by rocks and coral formations, which makes it a perfect spot for taking pictures. We spent some time swimming in the pool and enjoying the stunning views before heading back to the port.
My tour was fantastic. I booked a full-day tour with a local tour operator, and it was one of the best decisions I made during my trip. The tour included visits to some of the most popular tourist attractions in Bali, including the Tegenungan Waterfall, the Tirta Empul Temple, and the Ubud Monkey Forest.
The Tegenungan Waterfall is a beautiful waterfall located in the middle of a lush green forest. It is one of the most popular waterfalls in Bali and it is easy to see why. The waterfall is surrounded by a natural pool, which makes it a great spot for swimming and taking pictures.
The Tirta Empul Temple is a sacred Hindu temple that is famous for its holy water. Visitors are allowed to enter the temple and bathe in the holy water, which is said to have healing powers.
The Ubud Monkey Forest is a must-visit attraction in Bali. The forest is home to hundreds of monkeys and it is a great place to observe them in their natural habitat. The monkeys are friendly and playful, but visitors are advised to be careful with their belongings.
Ubud is the cultural heart of Bali. It is a vibrant town that is known for its art, culture, and spirituality. During my visit to Ubud, I explored the town on foot and visited some of its most famous attractions, including the Ubud Palace, the Campuhan Ridge Walk, and the Sacred Monkey Forest.
The Ubud Palace is a beautiful palace that was built in the 1800s. It is still used today for cultural events and ceremonies. The palace is surrounded by a beautiful garden that is open to visitors.
The Campuhan Ridge Walk is a scenic walk that offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape. It is a great way to escape the hustle and bustle of the town and enjoy some peace and quiet.
The Sacred Monkey Forest is a great place to observe monkeys in their natural habitat. The forest is home to over 600 monkeys and it is a popular attraction in Ubud.
In conclusion, Bali is a stunning island that is full of amazing places to visit. Nusa Penida is a must-visit for nature lovers, while Ubud is a cultural hub that offers a glimpse into Balinese art and spirituality. My tour was fantastic and it allowed me to see some of the most popular tourist attractions in Bali in one day. I highly recommend visiting these places if you are planning a trip to Bali. It is a magical island that will leave you with memories that will last a lifetime.
