As of writing, this is the newest lounge at MCO, located in the newest concourse (C: International). A few tangential things to mention - Concourse C is pretty significantly removed from the rest of the airport. It is, at least, a 20min trek (combination walking & tram) to get there from any other concourse. In addition to that, and this drives me crazy, each concourse is behind its own security. Even with TSA pre-check, this makes things annoyingly difficult if you are attempting to bounce from gate to gate to take advantage of different lounges/shops.
All that said - this is a pretty fantastic lounge as far as US lounges go.
The food was a combination of hot food the was quickly devoured and just as quickly replenished, a variety of grab and go salads, desserts and beverages.
The hot food items were fettuccini alfredo with chicken, meatloaf and mashed potatoes and hot vegetable medleys. There was a pot roast out for a bit but when it was finished, replaced with the meatloaf. Salads options were spinach, goat cheese and walnut, house salad and a fruit salad. Desserts were white chocolate mousse cups and a bakery/pastry tray.
In addition to soft drinks, there was an espresso/latte machine and a bar (with low priced well drinks).
I had a bit of everything - all were pretty delicious. The food was hot and the serving stations clean. The lounge also sits above a great view of Concourse C, on one side, and the tarmac on the other. There were plenty of seats (tables for eating and more private work areas) as well as TVs, wifi and private showers.
This is one of those lounges that feels more like one you'd find overseas. American Express Centurion lounges seem to be getting worse and worse in the states - and given their new guest policy - it is nice to know that my Amex can get me and my two kids in to a quality lounge stateside.
Overall, really enjoyed this lounge, even if you do have to work a bit to get there. 8.5/10
